This woven fabric is made of a mix of recycled PET (soda-bottles) and jute. The material is quite stiff and there is no lamination inside.
Recycled PET is a desired secondary resource.
How is R-PET (post-consumer recycled plastic bottles) recycled?
Plastic waste is collected, cleaned, sorted, shredded and then melted down and formed into pellets.
About Jute:
